Wines of Germany HQ extends visual communications work

A picture is worth a thousand words – in addition to the other social media platforms, you can find "Wines_of_Germany" (The German Wine Institute) on Instagram from now on. The headquaters new instagram profile informs follower about news, upcoming and recent events, entertaining and worth knowing facts concerning German wine.


"Social media platforms like Instagram play a very important role in our work, communicating our 13 wine regions and local wines effectively", says Frank Schulz, Head of Communications at Wines of Germany HQ (German Wine Institute / Deutsches Weininstitut DWI).

With the help of impressive and catchy pictures, winelovers worldwide gets enthused and the publicity of German wines raised even further. That’s why the new Instagram profile wines_of_germany is held in English language only. More than nine million people are registered for Instagram soley in Germany. "Food and drinks" is one of the biggest interest groups - this fits perfectly to the emotional and authentic topic of wine.
